Lena Meyer-Landrut conquistou com ampla vantagem o primeiro lugar no Eurovision Song Contest, na noite de ontem.
O pais que só havia ganhado o mesmo festival em 1982, quando Nicole interpretou a canção “Ein Bisschen Frieden”, sediará no próximo ano graças a vitória da alemã de 19 anos, que até fevereiro era completamente desconhecida em seu pais, quando conquistou sua vaga ao concurso continental no programa Unser Star für Oslo, ganhou imensa popularidade no país e já gravou seu disco de estréia.
A Alemanha conquistou 246, entre os 25 países participantes. Em segundo lugar ficou a Turquia, com 170. Em terceiro, Romênia com 162 pontos.
A edição número 55 do Eurovision teve 18 mil espectadores na Arena Telenor em Oslo, Noruega, onde foi realizado, e cerca 125 milhões acompanhando pela televisão.
Os pontos foram baseados na votação por telefone do público dos países participantes e no parecer de júris nacionais.
A canção interpretada por Lena, “Satellite”, é em inglês, e foi composta por Julie Frost e John Gordon. Veja a interpretação vencedora abaixo e a letra da música.
